A professional cricket stadium with three turf wickets was inaugurated by former India cricket captain Kapil Dev in 2003. It has also held the Australia-India Women’s Final. The Sports Entertainment division branded as ‘The Champ - Sports Village’ is a ‘first of its Kind’ facility is located on the East Coast Road, Chennai, sprawling over 18 acres of Lush Green land combines the thrill & excitement of Sports with a dose of entertainment. With a grassy outfield it makes for one of the best cricket stadiums in Chennai. Chennai Superstars and Chandigarh Lions played here during the ICL tournament on March 27, 2008.
