Jinnah Stadium in Gujaranwala is another venue which offers many other sporting facilities apart from cricket. Jinnah Stadium has hosted only one test match so far. The only test was played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in 1991. Jinnah Stadium has a capacity of 20,000 spectators. The stadium has hosted a number of one day matches. It was formerly known as the Municipal Stadium. The Gujranwala Cricket Association are the home team to this stadium. The first ever one-day at the stadium was hosted in 1982, which was between Pakistan and India. The match was won by the hosts, courtesy of Javed Miandad's century. It's been more than a decade since a Test match has been played at this venue.
