Situated next to a beach in Devonport, this is arguably Australia’s most picturesque cricket stadium with a small capacity. The Devonport Oval is a multipurpose stadium but more particularly used for cricket and is home to the Devonport Football Club as well as the Devonport Cricket Club. The ground hosted his first international match in 1987, an ODI between England and the West Indies. Other sports that it hosts once in a while is Australian football and Cycling with a track around the playing arena. It has two stands, both quite small, a pavilion and a grass hill. The ground is tiered on one side. In recent times, the Devonport Oval has also hosted a number of AFL practice games.
