Defence Housing Authority Stadium is located in Karachi in Sindh, Pakistan. It was formerly known as Defence Cricket Stadium. Defence Housing Authority Stadium has so far hosted only one Test match, which was between Pakistan and Zimbabwe in 1993. The hosts won the match by a margin of 131 runs, largely thanks to Waqar Younis' 13-wicket haul in two innings. It was also Waqar's first ever Test match as Pakistani skipper. He then became the youngest Test captain for Pakistan. Defence Housing Authority Stadium is used by the Karachi team for its domestic matches. It has hosted more than 15 first-class and List A matches. The Defence Housing Authority Stadium still remains an approved Test venue for cricket.
