This scenic stadium set up in 2003 in the outskirts of Vishakapatnam has a capacity of 25000. The first ODI was played here between India and Pakistan on April 5, 2005.This venue is yet to host a test match. There have been plans of increasing the seating capacity to 36,000 by adding a lot more tiers to the existing stands. But these tiers will block the hillocks and the clear skies against which this stadium is set up.
