Profile
Mumbai born Rohit Sharma is another product of the junior level system in India. He impressed one and all with his batting skills at the Under-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka. The talented right-hander’s classy batting in the 2006-07 Ranji season earned him a call in the Indian team for the World T20. His brilliant fifty against South Africa in the tournament helped India win a crucial encounter against the hosts. He is another youngster on whom India can bank on in the near future.
