    second One-day game at Harare on 22.10.11 - only to see that it did not fetch a
    win for his team. His hundred provides the 44th hundred in One-day
    games of a captain's hundred in a losing cause.

     

    BRM Taylor has witnessed three
    hundreds in vain as a captain in One-day games. He is the second captain after
    CH Gayle of West Indies to witness three
    hundreds in a losing cause. Thus BRM Taylor and CH Gayle share this dubious
    distinction of most hundreds by captains going in vain in One day games.
