as a wicket-keeper batsman. He became the fourth wicket-keeper batsman in the
annals of One-day games to score 50 fifties. Others are KC Sangakkara {72}, AC
Gilchrist {69} and A Flower {50}.

completed 4000 runs in the dual role as captain wicket-keeper batsman to reach
the milestone in the annals of One-day games. He completed 4000 runs when he
was on 55 during his knock of 75 not out at Kolkata on 25.10.11. At the end of
this game his run aggregate stood at 4020. Apart from MS Dhoni, KC Sangakkara
of Sri Lanka and A Flower of
Zimbabwe
are the other two captain wicket-keepers to have an aggregate of 1000 plus
runs.

MS Dhoni
achieved one more distinction in this game. He became the first captain wicket-keeper
to appear in 100 innings in the annals of One-day games. He celebrated this
rare distinction with a half-century - 75 not out in this game in his 100^th
innings.
